Members of the management team who founded World Waste Services are recognized throughout the waste industry and collectively have over 100 years of waste and recycling experience in the South Florida market.

Martha Saroza, President and Director
Martha Saroza has over twenty years of experience in the waste industry beginning in 1981 with Superior Waste Services. She became a Principal/Owner of Big Apple Waste Services, Inc., and was later on the management team at BFI of North America, Miami division. Ms. Saroza is a certified State of Florida Construction and Demolition Debris Landfills and Materials Recovered Facility Operator. Her expertise includes knowledge in the area of workers compensation, environmental compliance, employee relation laws pertaining to the waste industry, and FEMA funded relief operations.

Michael J. Adams, Vice-President and Director
Michael Adams has over fifteen years of experience in the industry having been Vice President of BFI Waste Systems of North America for twelve years. He successfully managed BFI’s largest marketplace with revenues exceeding 400 million annually. Mr. Adams was an integral member of BFI Senior Management Team responsible for financial performance earnings. He was solely responsible for securing national accounts of Burger King, Carnival Cruise Lines and Ford Motor Company. After BFI Waste Systems, he joined Vivendi, as a Business Development Vice President to assist in acquiring assets in the North American and the Caribbean markets.

Robert Saroza, Vice-President and Principal
Robert Saroza has over twenty years of experience. He was Principal/Owner of Big Apple Waste Services, Inc. which was an integral part of Hurricane Andrew’s clean up which was the biggest and most costly natural disaster in the United States at that time. In addition, Big Apple worked exclusively with US Army Corp.’s of Engineer and maintained an exclusive franchise with the City of Hollywood. Under his ownership, Big Apple became one of the largest privately owned waste companies in Miami Dade County. Robert Saroza joined BFI Waste Systems of North America, Miami division, as a Vice President of Operations and was responsible for 300 employees and an operating budget of $60 million annually. Mr. Saroza is a certified State of Florida Construction and Demolition Debris Landfills, Materials Recovered Facility Operator, and a Certified Safety Professional.


Management Team

Luigi Gino Profera, President, Port St. Lucie
joined World Waste Services, Inc. in March 2006. Mr. Profera has been in the solid waste industry for over thirty years starting as a driver and moving up to executive positions. Mr. Profera started off as a roll off driver with IWS Waste in the early seventies until the early ninety and later joined BFI Waste System of North America as a Sales Representative. Mr. Profera continued in the solid waste industry and joined Waste Management in 2001 as an Executive Account Manager. Mr. Profera joined World Waste Services to inaugurate the Port St. Lucie Division and now heads the St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River County areas.

Ronald Revales, Corporate Controller is World Waste Services Corporate Controller since December, 2007.  He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in the State of Florida since 1989 and holds a Masters Degree from the University of Miami. Mr. Revales has over twenty three years of Accounting and Financial Management experience and over the years has held various management positions in the government and private sector. Before joining World, Mr. Revales held the position of Chief Financial Officer at a major Real Estate Developer in South Florida. He has also been an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Florida Memorial University since 1991.

Eileen Damaso, Vice President Municipal Marketing Governmental Affairs
before joining World Waste Services, Inc. was Chief of Staff to a City of Miami Commissioner. In addition, she has state legislative experience having been a Senior Legislative Aide to a Florida State Representative and most recently with a Florida State Senator. In 2004, Ms. Damaso ran for the office of State Representative for the State of Florida although unsuccessful in her bid, she is optimistic of her future political career. Ms. Damaso has a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Miami.

Sally Stanton, Director of Business Development
has close to 15 years of experience in the waste and recycling industry. Before joining World Waste Services, she worked for BFI Waste Systems within the Dade, Broward and Palm Beach market areas as Executive Account Salesperson, Major Account Representative, Sales Supervisor, Customer Service Manager, Sales Manager, Recycling Specialist, Office/Commercial Segment Specialist and as Municipal Marketing Manager. Through acquisition, Sally also worked for Waste Management as Municipal Marketing Manager in the Palm Beach market, responsible for managing 28 contracted municipalities. She is experienced in many facets of the industry and has years of extensive training in recycling and materials marketing. She has received numerous honors and accolades from the industry, and the community during her 15 year tenure.

Steve Saroza, Operations Manager has over 30 years of waste experience. He began to work in the family business and was employed by Big Apple, BFI Delta, BFI Big Apple and other major waste companies. Mr. Saroza has experience in driver, logistic and operations management.

Steve Cade, Dispatch Manager has over 25 years experience in the waste service business. He began as a driver for Industrial Waste Service/Miami in 1979. He has held various positions including driver, supervisor and managed a 20 vehicle roll off operation for Industrial Waste Service/Attwoods Miami Division. Steve Cade joined World in February 2003.

Robert J. Saroza, Transfer Station Manager and Disaster Operations Manager has been in the solid waste industry for almost sixteen years starting to ride in garbage trucks since the age of 5. Robert Saroza, Jr. worked in various positions from dispatcher to driver. He is a certified Landfill Operator and Transfer Station Operator. Recently he was the Disaster Operations Manger during Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Wilma, coordinating the clean up efforts with the county and other governmental agencies that contracted with World Waste Services, Inc.
